Part-time Cheesemonger Position
Above average hourly wage plus tips and perks. Part-time hours available with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays required. (Keep in mind that Goose closes at 8pm on Fridays and 6pm on weekends.)
Duties for this position include:
- assisting guests in selecting cheeses, charcuterie, and the perfect pairings
- prioritizing guests’ experiences at Goose: providing exceptional front-line customer service
- slicing and packaging cured meats and cheeses to order
- arranging beautiful cheese boards, making sandwiches, and other food preparation
- upholding Goose’s high standards for product quality and presentation
- doing dishes, cleaning cases, upholding Goose’s high standards for cleanliness and organization
The ideal candidate:
- is passionate about working with good food and great people
- demonstrates the ability to prioritize and work efficiently, whether independently or as part of a group
- prior experience in food service is a plus but not required and on-the-job training is provided
