Lamb Legs and Easter Eggs
eggs

This Easter bring home the leg that will turn everyone's head!  Pre-order your Viking leg of lamb by March 17th to ensure delivery for Easter weekend.  Viking Lamb's are raised in Morristown, Indiana by Terry, Jane, Hunter and Conner Knudson.  These beautifully marbled Suffolk-Hampshire lambs are antibiotic and hormone free. Each deboned leg is approximately 6-9 pounds and will feed 8-12 people.

Let's say your 40 days is up and you want to impress the family with a beautiful roasted leg of lamb, but you are a little nervous having never attempted the feat.  Click the link that will lead you down the Internet super highway to a recipe for roasted leg of lamb (no worries...all listed ingredients can be found at the Goose).

PS- Keep an eye out for the Golden Egg.  If you are the lucky one to find the egg, you win a $50 gift certificate for the Goose that laid it.  Keep an eye on the blog for clues.

Ahh...it's here again.  That moment in time when we are all Irish, lucky and sober.  It's St. Patricks Day!  We've got what you need to make your festivities jolly.  The Goose will have brews from Wexford, O'Hara's and Murphy's to get you to Friday.  If you can't handle the liquid diet, we will also have Cahill's Porter and Desmond  Irish cheeses available throughout the week.

Don't forget to check out the hand carved cheese boards from American Hurling Co.  These hurley inspired boards are made of Indiana white ash by a fine young lad in Bloomington, Indiana.

Grab your hurley and Wexford and head for the rolling meadows!
