"The Garlic Buster"
2005 Il Cuore Rosso Classico
$14.00

Just in time for Valentine's Day (check your calendar-it's closer than you think), the Goose has stocked a new wine that may convince Cupid to change tactics.

From the warm hills of Mendocino County, California, comes the 2005 Il Cuore Rosso Classico, a blended red wine with prominent Zinfandel berriness.

This luscious wine is balanced with the acidity of old growth Barbera grapes. Ripe cherry and berry flavors don't overpower the subtle spicy and savory zest.

How fitting?  That really is her last name (at least until she weds this March).

To say Corrie enjoys food and wine is an understatement.  Take a second look at the picture and tell me she doesn't look like a happy camper.

Corrie earned her undergraduate credit in Public History at Ball State University.  Corrie went on to earn her street cred in the pantry during a stint under Chef Greg Hardesty at Elements Restuarant.  Post hazing, she has worked as a free lance writer and completed a Master in Food Culture at Universita di Scienze Gastronomiche in Colorno, Italy.

Corrie is an avid member of slow food, loves throwing pottery and enjoys long walks on the beach.

She has most recently given our blog the loving that it needs.  Check out her work at www.goosethemarket.blogspot.com.  Thanks Corrie!
